Hi everyone,
I really debated on releasing this knife. I absolutely enjoy all of Milan’s work so much so as confession, I even wrote up a paragraph of what I envisioned an eventual custom from him could have been.
But as life changes, I feel like so do my priorities as a result I find myself having taken a step back from the hobby as well as not using my collection as much as I’d like to.
Milan 135Cr3 Deep Etch 226mm (Ziricote/Bronze)
I’m asking $1900USD. For well established members, I’d be happy to offer a discount on payment methods via PM. To give clarity, my expenses on this knife still exceed my proposed value by a fair amount.
Size: 226mm x 56.7mm
Spine at heel: 4.7mm
Spine close to tip: 0.6mm
Weight: 275g
Steel: 135Cr3, Wrought Iron Clad
Finish: Deep Etch, Stone Finished Kasumi
Handle: Hierloom Fit Ziricote and Bronze
Geometry: Workhorse
I think this knife is just the right balance of weight and cutting feel and to me the only workhorse I was going to keep in my collection.
I had this rehandled by Blank Blades and it has been used a total of 3 times at most. However I have tested the surface polishing of the knife on stones once.
I don’t think it’s too far off from its once new condition however blending the polishing on the knife has proven challenging.
There’s also quite a bit of figure in the wrought iron that can be brought out.
If you’d like to purchase the Uchigumori I have posted as well, I’d be happy to offer a discount and priority to you.

As I mentioned prior, I’m a bit busy today but I’ll get back to everyone soon.
Thanks all.
