Used it for one night shift. Sharpened it once. Light patina. I love this knife. The only reason why I am letting it go is because of the length. Even though it said 240mm on jck, it is more like a 270mm. I never tried a 270mm before, and this length just does not suit me. I bought it from jck for $685 including shipping.

Oh you guys. And here I was hoping he’d measure it and tell me it was 51mm. Some guys need an extra 2in’s. I just want and extra 2mm’s.

I bought Nagakin's Mizuno Honyaki a week or so ago. No regrets ( I haven't really put it to use yet), but it's a chonker! I'm surprised by the lack of nearly any distal taper. But I love the heel height too and I find it fascinating how big they made the handle.
