Hey guys,

I just got this stone out of the recommendation of the forum. But there's a small line that I can see and feel on the surface. Is it a crack or a dent? Should I ask for a replacement? Or will it be fine?

Album

The specific photo is the last one...below the kanji, to the left, it is a small arc. (I can't seem to add it to the thread)

OP, that photo doesn't show enough to really comment on...

Options are probably to flatten the stone, to see if its a trivial surface defect;
or to find a way to photo/document it better and see if your dealer will replace it.
The pro/cons of the latter strategy depend a bit on your dealer as well.

Sorry can't be of more help.

Didn't look at the album and see the base, my bad. It should flatten out but if the divot is deep enough that your not happy with it contact the retailer and talk to them, it can't hurt.
