Glad you got it resolved to your satisfaction. I was thinking that a partial refund would be a good solution, but felt that it wasn't my place to suggest it and that it should be left up to the vender.

I agree that if you refinish the knife it will probably be your favorite.

Hi guys, I got the email reply from aron(kns staff).

As my knife was the last one, therefore I can’t exchange the same knife anymore, but Aron give me 30% refund, quite a good deal for me. The customer service is very fast & nice ! I didn’t expect this option at all. I gonna keep it & use it.

Yes it is huge discount for me, I didn’t expect this much, My girlfriend also say they have very good customer service, now they got a extra loyalty customer for many years! In the future if I want to buy knives or tools, KNS will become my first choice, I’m happy to support James business!
