This is a very good knife. Can take a sharp edge and holds it well... HRC rating is 65. Good edge retention and has slight convexity.

These are really good. Very Yoshikane-esque but Yoshikane grind is pretty much flat, but these have a nice subtle convex. Steel sharpens very well and these have a unique finish

Yep, that's a pretty long time ago. I have occasionally had forum members "in good standing' drop off due to family sickness or similar issues unexpectedly.

It would be nice for the OP to drop in to acknowledge things though.
