Letting go of a lot of stones I never thought I'd sell as I downsize to just bare essentials. There will be a post with knives later on today. Free shipping within the United States. International shipping paid by buyer.
Ohira Suita Ao Renge 153x83x 43, 1367g $500- A rare suita, this is a hard stone, it requires a bit of finesse but it leaves a truly hairsplitting edge and can refine a polish to mirror. Beautiful black lotus renge cover the surface and the lines do not effect sharpening. Being as thick and hard as it is, this stone will likely outlast you.

Okudo Renge Shiro Suita 205x75x34, $550- This white okudo suita is an excellent finishing stone. Its on the softer side for many okudo, though I have a hard time pinning down exactly what hardness its at so Ill err on the side of caution and say roughly level 3.5-4. There are pink/red renge poking out on the bottom half of the stone which I think will emerge more as its used.

Ohira Renge Suita, 198 x 70 x 19, $250- I bought this from one of Ottos sales for one of my best friends who is a woodworker. However, when he finally came to visit he ended up picking a different stone from my collection to take home with him. I really have no need for this stone, as beautiful as it is, so back on the market it goes. Comes with a display box. Otto said: "Renge and suminagashi interplay beautifully on this stone. It's on the harder and finer end on the Suita spectrum but still very knife friendly. Has a bizarre pink slurry and leaves the classic toothy Ohira Suita edge"

Okudo Suita 210-x70x35, $450- Another okudo suita, this one with some faint sumingashi that may become more visible over time. Fast cutting stone that isnt too hard and generates mud quickly. A really solid performer and more forgiving than some harder okudo Ive used.

Hakka Set, $600- Four excellent hakka stones up for grabs here, everything you could really need for polishing and kasumi finishing. Youre getting a truly excellent and numbered hakka suita from Morihei (170x56x32) and three other koppas: a hakka namito with kan ripples, hakka suits, and a hakka tomae. Each stone works and feels a little different under a blade and Ive had great fun experimenting with them all together.
