Hey yall, here's a beautiful, old school, Ohira Renge Suita I got from Japan. It's still got the display stickers on it and it's a very nice, clean piece. Tons of renge running throughout the entire stone. This stone cuts insanely fast and finishes to one of the most beautiful Kasumi finishes I've ever gotten so fast. The stone is firm but not overly hard. I've finished knives, tools and razors with it with ease. It's got a very smooth, creamy feedback with pink mud produced when forced with diamond plate. This stone came from a sword polisher in Japan and was highly recommended by him for cutlery. I've had it for a number of years but haven't used it overly much in hopes of preserving the stickers. After mud is made either using just the blade or forced, the stone is firm enough to work the mud down and produce a finer finish.
