Lol. Ive just seen some of the old wood workers do this with oil stones and diamond plates.

Pretty convenient doing this s grind. I can go from the grinder to this and back.

so there are guys worrying about cracking stones by uneven drying and you put the stone in a bench vise!
brave, I´d say!
for very rough work on diamond plates a very practical solution though!

Its a venev 80/150 so its resin bonded diamond layers with a metal plate in the middle.

But hey. I bet you could get away with doing this with a king 1k too! Lol
