I remember that kato. Jon did a hell of a job. Quite the swan song as I recall.

Was the Kato reprofiled in the last few inches towards the tip?

Not reprofilled by myself, and it has not been used quite a bit. Just Patinas super quick and aggressively. But those are easy cosmetic fixes if buyer wants to do

As stated in my OP This was from a member and was refinished and reprofilled from JKI, I’m assuming it was super used when he had it but after the work was done it looked like a new knife , since it has not been used that much Is what I’m stating. Obviously the knife was used in its early days since the Original owner reprofilled it into a different type of knife..

I have a hard time believing that Kato was reprofiled by Jon. The tip area looks so off, just like it did when the previous owner sold it.

1. Copy image link.
2. Click the "attach image" icon.
It's in the banner just above where you comment and beside the emoji icon, it looks like a "mountain and a sun" in a picture frame.
3. Paste link into where it says and click "attach"
It "use to" be a little difficult, now it's about as easy as possible.
