As the title suggests, I'm looking for a smaller end grain cutting board. What's out there? Should I consider a non-wood option? It'll be used for everything except raw meat.
I have a 14x20 that I use for meal prep, but I like having a smaller one for odds and ends. Easier to take to the sink, a little more maneuverable with our awkward kitchen layout. The smaller one that I currently use is an older 10x14 edge grain. It's been slowly warping over the years and is due for replacement.
I see Boardsmith has Sidekicks that are 9x12. That's probably my top choice, but I wish it was a little bit larger. Beyond Boardsmith, it seems most of the internet market is edge grain, Etsy, or more suspect teak boards.
