I'm with you. total multitasker. I can sear a raw oyster, steak, etc..and then I can use it to heat a nut/bolt that is frozen up by miles and rust (to break it loose), and then fix a copper water line. hahaha..My weapon of choice for searing after sous vide: Benzomatic BZ4500HS. It works better for searing than the TS8000.

I should be clear that not only do I not currently own a sous vide, I’m not sure if I would be allowed one
