Good morning and happy Sunday, KKF!
Do you often struggle with recurring bouts of death anxiety? Do you find most work days marginally more obnoxious than a standard dental cleaning but substantially less demoralizing than visiting your friendly-neighborhood, board certified proctologist (the one who never forgets to tell you that he's never worked a day in his life because he chose to pursue a profession that most closely parallels his "true calling" in life and favorite hobby, amateur spelunking)? Have you and your wife frequently found yourselves praying aloud with fists clenched skyward, gnashing they teeth and inquiring of God-almighty as to the reason(s) why He didn't make you even half the man of her paramour? Well then I might have something of interest to you: the opportunity tomake blatantly poor financial decisions buy knives.
I work in software, I can't cook worth a damn and very rarely used these knives, most of them were simply used for cutting tests and that's about it unless otherwise noted in the videos for them (click each respective maker's name below to see the vid recorded for that particular knife). They have all been extremely well taken care of, most just sitting around in their packaging. I never attempted to remove patina on any of them, if they have any, because I don't know how to safely do that (yet).
My foray into the world of finer knives began close to three years ago. I said that once I'd found a good 4-6 knives that I gelled most with, I'd keep just those and move the rest. In the last couple days I've more or less been able to finish securing all the knives to comprise that projected 4/6-knife rotation (it'll actually be closer to 8-10: funny how that happens). All the knives that I'm releasing are exceptional, it's just that my preferences are what they are and those that I'm not keeping can now be moved and hopefully enjoyed by others.
The majority of these knives were minimally used and are essentially brand-new, even if they have minor patina: some knives patina after the first onion cut. I like to think I have a damn good reputation as a seller though I haven't sold much. I recently sold a Halycon, LaSeur and Xerxes, all buyers of which were extremely happy with what they got.
I prefer payments through Zelle but and am willing to accept them via PayPal too.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
