Oh man I love them too, my wide hates them because of the seeds, I prefer the the lighter fleshed ones

I sorta thought this thread was going to be about blue fin tuna...
I have no clue what that fruit (I assume?) is.
Fill me in. It's beautiful

It’s the fruit from the paddle cactus.

I’ve seen green ones and red ones. Loaded with vitamins.

I buy them from our Mexican grocery stores.

Super delicious. They are filled with tiny seeds you can’t chew. I just swallow them. Much like s pomegranate.

Prickly pears are a massive pest in Oz (classified as an invasive species and noxious weed).

I didn't realise that you could eat the fruit. I think it would be illegal anyway. You are meant to kill the plant if you find them on your property.

On a family trip in Mexico our children and us loved eating tuna ice cream, delicious and had a name we found to be quite funny!

Not a fan, I couldn't get around the seeds aspect. I had a couple and wanted to do something like a cream or a mouse or something. All around my favorite fruit is jackfruit, I managed to germinate two seeds and they are both growing. Now all I have to do is wait 6 years and then I'll be swimming in jackfruit icecream.
