Picked up this Gem during JNS April sale, amazing cutter, identical performance to my Ion clad Toyama but with much more style while cutting.

Super duper cutter, this is not a hype knife, as it out cuts my Shig Kasumi & looks as cool as Ketaji with the dami in lite finish but plenty pattern contrast.

Lightly used, slight natural patina except the edge which I put on a nice blue patina, visible under natural lighting at the right angle.

Sharpened once to ease the factory zero edge, has minor scratch sharpening mark on one location, can be seen in one of the photos, the one that shows the full knife.

JNS price was $840, i am able to pass on the saving to you as I got it at a real good deal. Asking $550 plus shipping. Don’t miss it as it was sold out right away during April sale, you won’t see anywhere near this price even if it comes back in stock.

Heyo! She's a looker. GLWS

Thanks!

Here is a Choil shot & specs:

Edge length: 213 mm
Heel height: 51.5 mm
Weight: 182g

Besides the amazing cutting performance that makes one fall in love with Toyama upon first cut, I also really like the height of the Toyama Gyuto, it makes the knife seems bigger than 210 Gyuto with lower height & it’s especially handy in scooping up vegetables after the cut, thus, combing the tasks of Gyuto & Nikiri in one.

If I can only have one Knife, even if the choices include unicorns such as Shig & Kato, & custom knives such as Kipp & Marko, it’ll be a Toyama! The knife is that good!

Marko Added:

I am not willing to drop the price to move the Toyama dami as I know it deserves every penny at my asking price. However, I also must sell one of my top knives to balance my budget.

The conflict is driving me nuts, so I’ve decided to offer up my Marko 220mm WH Gyuto into the mix. For the same price, you can choose either take the Toyama dami or my prized Marko WH Gyyto, I’ll keep the other Knife.

Marko is shown as the Top knife in the family photo below. I’d like to keep the sale US only for now. Spec: 220mm edge/51mm heel height, 223g weight; 4.5mm spine out the handle, 4.0 mm over the heel, 0.5mm 1CM from tip. Beautiful linear taper, and vertical convex grind, just a perfectly executed knife, lightly used but still a perfect execution in every way. Even I had multiple Toyamas, Shig & Kato, & other custom knives, I was still blown away by Marko.

Good luck
