I know they tend to have chunky stub handles for a reason, but I prefer them with wa handles.

The Takeda small is perfect except for the price. Gesshin Ginga is priced better but still a bit high for a knife I'll use a couple of times a week when I want to play Martin Yan.

Right now I'm leaning toward getting a CCK or Dexter and rehandling it. I already have a spare wa handle.

Any other suggestions for wa-handled, sub-$250 thin Chinese veggie cleavers?

Dao Vua? I heard the heat treat is hit or miss but if it's a hit it's killer for 90 bucks

Cck 1102...but cut the wa down by an inch or so...

As an aside, the stock cck handle is actually very comfortable...
