+ 1 to full bolsters. Next time my friend asks me to sharpen his, I'm sending it to Dave to have the bolster ground down to above the heel.
As for the term "retarded" I don't think that it's insensitive as it's no longer used (or shouldn't be) as a blanket descriptor / label for people with actual brain damage or cognitive disability or disorder.
IMO "retarded" has entered the realm of slang and insults and resides in the company of other names such as moron, idiot, fool, dip$h1t, etc.
Besides, if we can't use the word retarded, what else do we call the rhinochop guy form Johnny B's linked post on FF!?!? (great use of Seinfeld btw!!!!)
