I pulled the handle, sanded it up to 1200, gave it some ebony pants, stained the Edro saya, and now I need something else to work on.

It's actually sumnigashi. I never got around to putting a new etch on it. I had a hard time just now getting a decent detail shot, but this should give you a better idea:

Oh okay cool! So I'm somewhat new to this. What is sumnigashi? Also would you happen to know the spine thickness?
