White steel

Chips at heel and small one near tip from putting it on the flat plate to show straightness. Left the chips in because debas often chip anyway with misuse, and I don't want to regrind the whole wide bevel or reduce the life of the knife if I don't absolutely have to.

Sharpens and strops extremely easily, and also yields a dry bitey edge -- excellent white steel. Not the absolute hardest but enjoyable, acts somewhat like hinoura white. Had to refinish the blade face and ura to blend out deeper scratches from previous owner. Filed the choil. Very fancy engraving haha. Buffalo horn ferrule. Very thin at tip, needs a koba, easy to add. Wide bevel sharpened, some low spots 1/3 from tip (central part of wide bevel height), and heel. Small black oxide weld inclusion near tip. Pitting
