It’s said that the best way to remove a band aid is to grab an edge and just tear it off. In the process of preparing for my “TF Chronicles” this was one of my favourite knives. It had been performance tuned and was straight and thin bte. I didn’t use it very much (how could I with 14 TF’s to test), but it was clearly a “best performer”. Despite all that it’s past time that I “tear the band aid off and sell some of my TF’s. This sweetheart is first up. I’m looking for $410 shipped and insured to your door. Canadian buyers can buy it for a little less as I save money on shipping.

I originally bought the knife from KKF member Mike Dunne in this post.

Many thanks … I’ve sensed that the bottom has fallen out of BST lately. This Mab is one of the best examples of what TF produces. Thinned, performance tuned, minimal wabi sabi, reasonably priced. I honestly thought it would disappear within minutes. When you compare it to the costs of playing the TF sweepstakes, IMHO it’s a no brainer. BUT … we can only spend the cash we have in our pockets and times have changed.

I guess the good news is that I have three A+ knives inbound that were languishing on BST, purchased at prices that would have seemed ridiculous a few months ago.

I’m hopeful that this TF will go to a good home. Whoever ultimately gets it will be very happy with their purchase.

Thanks to this forum i now have a whole bunch of tfs (i blame you and your chronicles @Brian Weekley ) and have recently aquired one that was done up by forty knives and can say with confidence its once of my best cutting knives, anyone looking to try out a tf should jump all over this!

As a good friend recently said to me “the universe is speaking”. I’m going to keep this TF.

There will be other TF’s that I’ll put on BST but I think I might wait a while until interest in BST improves.

Thanks all who spoke on behalf of this great knife. It’s every bit as good as you all said it is. Apparently the best home for it is my home.

Brian
