I really like the shape and profile. Would it form a whole blade patina ? After seeing some beautiful pics in the patina thread I've been wanting reactive cladding or reactive mono steel.

It will patina quite nicely. Though, you'll have to expose the entire blade surface to something acidic for it to patina entirely.

Nice. I haven't purchased anything from here before. Not sure how things work

Oh alright, well ordinarily if you see something you're interested in on BST or in the sponsor market you just DM the member who created the listing, and they'll give you their payment information, usually a PayPal address (don't agree to F&F, there's a whole thread on that), and you'll give them your mailing address and they'll ship the knife/stone etc. as soon as they can.

52100 produces one of the nicest patinas, IMO. You’d be very happy with the colors, especially if you treat it to some hot protein first thing.

If you soak it in coffee, 52100 turns a lovely dark grey as well.

Um, excuse my ignorance but how do you DM
It's alright. In the top RH corner of your screen you should see a little envelope beside the notification bell. If you click it you should have the option to start an new conversation, if you click that you should just have to type in my username. Alternatively, if you hover over my username the option to begin a conversation should come up. I am using a desk top though, so if you're on a mobile phone it may be a little different.
