Was wondering if anyone use this dressing stone, like a synthetic nagura without rinsing the mud after. What I noticed with the Naniwa Pro and chosera is that the mud raised with it is the same color as the sharpening stone and doesn’t feel to rough. So do you keep the mud or rinse it. With other stones sometime te mud raised is more from the dressing stone.

Obviously with the mud left on it the stone feels and behaves differently feels like it has been soaked for lack of better words.

You can use it safely with any fine stone, never seen any 'contamination' except for use with the 400. But there it hasn't any consequences.
