I'm an avid home-cook and through an interest in sharpening, I caught the fever you all suffer from here. I live somewhere else every few years (currently Ethiopia) but occasionally go home to Europe.
I essentially have no collecting except for my 'training' knives (VG-10's), which I used to get a hang of sharpening before messing up some nice blades later on.
It took me forever to get to this point, but finally, I have the disposable income to start collecting and learning thoroughly, and I found this to be the most informative place throughout my readings and I owe the best parts of limited knowledge to the fine folk here, so I thought I'd join the fray.
