On vacation and found one of my grandmother's old knives.

Sorry I missed the tip but is swoops up like a scimitar. 7" Blade. Knife is stamped "El Toro" with a bull logo. Soligen Germany 5813.

Any ideas?

You guys are starting to inspire me to seek out these old knives. I wonder how many of these my parents have pitched. There are several more vintage knives in the drawer but none of them are marked.

Found this hope it helps.

Schmidt & Ziegler. Their knives were imported to the US by Harlan Willis Burbank (H. Willis Co.) of Louisville KY in the late 60s early 70s. S & Z closed around 1972. Also, bought by GI tourists in Germany.
