Anyone worked with Eugene at Epsilon Forge?

I am in talks for a custom with Epsilon Forge aka Eugene Butmerchuk.

Everything was cool and we started to talk deposit and he said F&F and no "notes" should be made on the transaction. Stating fees are waived in the Ukraine right now and he's trying to keep a lower profile on financial systems (paraphrasing).

I am sure he is legitimate but wanted some reassurance before a deposit. That goes against any advice I'd give, so I wanted to vet him before I plunge.

Well, If anyone has read this, I went ahead and made the deposit. I had a couple of people respond on Reddit and said he's a good guy and has excellent attention to detail. I think he took it a little personally but we're moving forward. War makes things weird and he's based in Ukraine. I'll be posting it once I get it in, appr. 2/24ish.

I can't comment on Epsilon specifically, but I always pay for my customs via PayPal F&F, and if I'm remembering correctly, it's not uncommon for makers to request "no notes" in the transaction.
