Andy777's discourse on the Chinese cleaver is what originally brought me here to KKF:

Welcome to the forums!

This is the very post from Andy that turn me into the Chinese Cleaver addict that I am today. but there was a separate post from Andy that was a detailed review of six or eight specific Cleavers. It also included measurements and weight along with description and his personal opinion. Andy also spoke highly of SUIEN VC cleaver (which I bought and absolutely love) . He said that it was one of the best values, and easily had the quality of its $300- $400 brothern. I couldn't agree with him more.

I first read Andy777 post(s) about two years ago after recently reading them again I decided it was time to sign up for KKF. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long

Well let's see... there's this one: http://www.kitchenknifeforums.com/showthread.php/5224-The-keepers
and then there is this one: http://www.kitchenknifeforums.com/showthread.php/5239-Buying-a-new-cleaver

Hope this helps! I also hope that Andy777 sees this and chimes in, he has been gone for quite awhile, before I discovered his posts and join KKF. Fortunately we have other knowledgeable cleaver, or Chinese chef's knives, users here. One in particular who has been very influential to me through his posts over the years has been XooMG.

thanks, also great post from Andy777. It would be nice if he came back and posted something new
