Wanted to try out an Okubo given all the forum hype but finding that I still prefer lighter mid weights in general. This was a custom that took 4 months to come in. I spent some time cleaning up the bevels (which initially were wedgy and left hand biased) - but is now thinned and has a workable kasumi over a ~1000grit finish (though I didn’t get out all the low grit scratches from the stock grind. I also knocked down the choil a bit, but wanted to maintain most of the rustic feel so didn’t go for a mirrored choil nor spine. Nice feeling B2 overall and a great do it all knife!
Specs:
-195x55mm, 4.3mm spine at heel
-178g
Bought for 197$, selling for the same shipped CONUS.
