I have a Gyuto from Devin Thomas that I would like to sell. It is made from MagnaCut steel, has a gorgeous Bocote handle. Specs as follows …

Blade length … 268mm
Edge Length … 254mm
Depth at heel … 53mm
Thickness measured at spine … 3.67mm at heel, 2.8mm mid blade, 0.89mm 1” from tip
Weight …246gms

It has seen very little use and has never been sharpened or stropped. I am the second owner.

The knife was tipped when I received it from the first owner. I repaired it to the point where I was satisfied that it was usable for me. Here is a picture of the repaired tip.

I paid $1040 to the first owner for the knife plus shipping and trans border costs which were considerable. I am prepared to discount the knife by $150 from my purchase price in consideration that it has been tipped and repaired. I am looking for $890 for the knife plus shipping and insurance. I feel that is a considerable discount for a extremely nice knife from a top maker.
