I have purchased from them in the past, I got the damaged knife that I restored in my thread from them. Seemed more than professional enough, reasonable shipping time. The last order I placed with them had a weeklong delay, but they reached out to explain it.

I have. He's perfectly pleasant and will usually reply to any questions that you have. I see him as a middleman between what you can get for a song on Japanese auction sites, without having to deal with the requirements of a forwarding service. I don't mind looking through what's available in Japan myself and using those companies to collect and ship me the items I'm interested in. I'd still buy anything that seller had on offer if the package and price made sense to me.
