Home cook here in Portland, OR. We just weathered a nasty winter storm.

Started with some cheap Tojiro white blades from CKTG. Love the performance (and performance/price), but the care is a bit annoying.
Recently acquired a nice Sukenari 240mm SG2 gyuto from K&S US. (Christmas present for myself).

Probably going to get a santoku, bunka, nakiri, and/or petty to shore up the shorter side of things.
 
Ive spent a decent amount of time in PDX and Seattle. Great food and drink spot. KKF is a solid community full of enablers ;)! BST will be your best friend and worst nightmare. Keep an eye on the all rectangle march thread! Great time to buy a Nakiri.
