help ID this knife

bought a bunch of knives from a chef some time ago, among them I do not recognize the following one. wondering if anyone has ever come across this before?

yep- that's a single bevel yanagi

Seems like a pretty obscure maker, no info online. I could only find one listing on yahoo japan auctions and it doesn't even have a photo:
