Thought I’d pass this along, I’m not sure who follows their stock but they got a bunch of Imanishi naturals in. Anyone looking for an entry level branded stone, prices are decent, and there’s some cool looking ones in there. The only issue I have is they won’t test them, and generally won’t let us test them either as they’re in a warehouse. Understandable but disappointing.

I got the ones I was looking for, but there’s 10 or so bench stones, mostly ohira, defined as hard or soft.

Personally I’ve found Imanishi stones to be of good quality - even their koppa I find are pretty pure, and all share good speed.

Someone buy them so I don’t have to :).

Which one do you get? Can you share some pics and maybe the results after using that stone?

Seems to be risky though there's no explanation or whatsoever. i do recommend speaking to some members here who will test stones and answer your question. @musicman980 has been a nice guy although i haven't had enough to purchase his stones yet

I’m in no way an expert on natural stones, but I have heard mixed things about the performance of stones from Imanishi.
