Slicing a couple green onions or a few chives when you forgot to do so when your big knife was dirty seems to be the only time it gets used. The cuteness outweighs the lack of usefulness for sure

I don’t think it’s a very versatile knife and I use an usuba frequently, so it’s not a very useful knife for me considering the overlap. Despite all of this I still like it a lot.
