Hi KKF,
The clean-out continues. As mentioned this is a 270mm Sandvick 19C27 mirror polish gyuto I purchased around 4 years ago for $450. I have used it once but other than that the knife hasn’t been stropped or sharpened and in near new condition. I’m looking for $400 shipped CONUS.

265 x 50mm

The white specs in photos are some dust particles.

Upon close up, I price will drop to $350 shipped.

For anyone wondering...

19C27 – Made up of Carbon: .95%, Chromium: 13.50%, Manganese: .70%, Phosphorus: .025%, Sulfur: .010%, Silicon: .40% This steel is very popular amongst Japanese knife makers. It is a very pure alloy and is usually referred to as Swedish steel in the Japanese knife market. It has good edge retention and wear and corrosion resistance are high as well. It is very similar in make up to the 13C26 steel with increased amounts of Carbon and Chromium.

Thank You! I’m not too familiar with this steel so it helps a lot 😁

I don't know why this hasn't sold yet... it's cheaper than even a vanilla Suisin inox honyaki at this point...
