Unloading a few stones I have no more use for.

First is a maruoyama shiki uchi, really old one without the side stamps, gotta be a couple decades or so. It's 208x76x54, really clean and easy to use, self slurries but not excessively, smooth and kinda chalky feedback, feels great to use. Super clean stone. It's a good stone to clean off aizu scratches and sets up for finer finishers nicely.

Narutaki tomae up next, 205x75x42, its a fairly yellow stone if that's your thing. Medium-hard with good feedback, not grabby at all, fairly easy to blend and finish a bevel with it. Lines don't scratch.
It was interesting to explore this stone for me but it overlaps with like a dozen other stones i already have so here it is.

Hard nakayama maruka

206x74x41, It's really more of a tool and razor stone but i was experimenting with really bright finishes and it was part of the lineup. 2 nakayama suita i have are just better in every way so it's getting the axe.
For best results i had to use lighter pressure and really scratch up the surface with an atoma which is why it looks like that lol. Doesn't need to be refreshed often on account of hardness.

I didn't put any effort into finishing but you can clearly see the brightness of the iron on this one compared to the shiki uchi. It's a really fine stone.

Posting this one for 800 usd, base stone just isn't worth more than that irrespective of cool stamps. Razor people might have some differing opinions though lol.

pulled cause subsurface toxicity discovered, ran all the way through stone.

Maruo available again

Maruka pulled cos I worked into some **** abrasive that seems to go all the way through, new garden decoration for my mother. Sucks.

What do you mean? Revealed some scratchy particles underneath?
Yeah it was scuffing everything I put on it badly enough that I'd have to go back to synthetics. Steel too, not just iron. I flattened the bottom a bit and checked and it continued there as well so I'm assuming it's all the way through

Oh no, that's unfortunate...
I have a hard nakayama and a wakasa which have scratchy iron particles in them. Diamond plate slurries solved the problem in my case, but I don't feel so inclined to polish with them.

If you want to sell it for paper weight, I don't have a garden but I have a lot of papers to keep down when my overhead fan is on. I won't use it to sharpen as I sold my kit long ago.... (wrist issues) LOL.

I appreciate the offer but I can't in good conscience release this one back into the wild, as a paperweight or otherwise.
