"Mean" looking knife for partner, Kurouchi but all stainless?

Hey folks, I almost found the perfect knife, but my partner is new to knife care so I want to get her something stainless. She's a badass, and likes dark things (read "goth") so I'm trying to get her something that would match that style. This Kochi from JKI is perfect looks-wise, but not stainless core, probably too thin for her skills, and also out of stock. Anyone know of something similar?

Take something like this and soak it in super strong instant coffee for a few hours. The core steel at the edge will turn black, and the patina will be very protective going forward. The combination of black higher up, the light kasumi, and black edge is pretty cool. The edge won’t be stainless, but will be more resistant.

Try searching for "Tojiro VG10 Hammered Gyuto 180mm" on Chef knives to go.

Takayuki Kurokage is also worth a look.
 
Its above your price range, but Yoshida knives might meet your criteria. Very few sites sell it. Strata does. They are in zdp-189 stainless or semi-stainless Hap40 steel.
