Saw the IG post from Shibata showing his upcoming Chibi Tank (140mm) and Mini Tank (110mm).

Picture below has the Tank 180mm up top, followed by the Chibi then the Mini.

Anyone besides me excited? šŸ˜šŸ„°

Mini tank definitely caught my eye, not sure if itā€™s useful for my needs but itā€™s adorable šŸ¤£ Whether I pick it up depends on the price , if itā€™s OG tank prices for a knife half the size Iā€™ll probably pass

Does irrationally annoy me the size is now tank > chibi > mini instead of tank > mini > chibi. Feels like the one called cute should be the smallest šŸ§

What's the small one for? I like it but need to somehow justify. Maybe grapes, but only the ones that aren't too big?

Mini tank reminds me of masakageā€™s weird little shoe making knife thing. I dig it, but canā€™t imagine when Iā€™d use it.

The Chibi Tank and Mini Tank finally arrived home yesterday after 22 weeks on order!

These are Aogami Super core with soft stainless cladding, just like their big bother Tinker Tank.

Without further ado, here are some pictures -

Iā€™ve wanted one of these for a while! Although now I realize theyā€™re stainless clad my life will be less stressful. Not a knock on the knife or stainless cladding, just preference šŸ™‚. I do love me some AS.

Enjoy!

I would prefer that they'd gone in the other direction, offering a 205 and a 225mm version with sizable flat spot. But I guess tiny freakshow knives are... cute?
