Both are 210’s sourced from Carbon. Both Blue 2 and and in great shape. KU sharpened once through a full progression, kasumi only touched up a couple times.

KU has an African Blackwood one piece I had Craig make for it.

Don't sleep on these older KU Watanabes. Excellent grinds and unbelievably substantial feel in hand. To say that they are a world apart from the KU Wats that have been coming out recently does not do it justice. I have a 270 and a 240 and would be buying this 210 if I hadn't just blown out my knife budget

The KU is: 223g and 3.5mm ish at the handle.
The Kasumi is: 172g and 3mm ish at the handle.

I’ve got an older 240 ku watanabe and it’s an og workhorse from before them becoming a thing. Heft where you want it and thin where it counts.
+1 to them being really decent knives, would take a lot for me to sell mine.
