Hot damn!!! Thank you, Mark! As porn star Jenna Jameson said to Ron Jeremy, "Your wood the absolute best!"

Kaeleb/Matt did the handles so I'm going to send a PM and have him select something he wants.

In fact, Matt just mailed me a MAC 10.5" bread knife with Burl Source natural ironwood with eight nickel silver 1/8 pins. I'll post a picture of that for the next round.

If I win the price will go to Darkhoek :)
I got more BS wood in the making at him :)

Oivind, I was just checking out the Old Growth Redwood Burl out on Mark's web site and it's beautiful. Darkhoek did a great job.

What's the bread knife?

JBG, kaeleb gets all the credit. You can see his progress as a handle maker in posts # 6, 31, 32, 57, 97 and 114. They're all terrific, but the MAC just nails it in a way I can't put into words.

Many thanks, glad you like it.

I never win anything :scratchhead::(:dazed::surrendar::stinker:

Even with 3 out of 5 entried for Feb, i still lose to a post from Jan !!!!

I am officially the unluckiest raffle/draw person alive, im like a raffle cooler

LOL

It is appreciated, my point was that i never win any raffles ever !!!

Sometimes if you heat the whole knife to a little over 200f the epoxy will soften to the point where you can pull off the handle.
Depends on the epoxy but might be worth a try.

I have done this successfully. As long as you stay below 300 it should not affect the temper.

Very nice Mike. That yanagi is beautiful

Seven inch chef's knife with Mark's stabilized koa. I sure wish I could capture the chatoyance in this one with my camera.

Nice Tom! Looks like they are comming along pretty well.

I know it's not a knife, but I had to show you anyways.
Bob Miller used some of the Curly Mango to make new grips for his 1911.
