Hey KKF,

I bought this one because I wanted something long enough to slice roasts with in a single draw stroke and because I love gyutohikis and 300+ gyutos. But between the lack of time to actually cook a roast, and the unbelievable cool factor, my plans have so far not been realized. Instead I have had this unicorn on display in my office. Its brand new and a really special piece. The cladding is XC10 for stiffness and the handle is a gorgeous piece of ironwood. The handle feels really great - super comfortable and balanced for this size. Bryan made a saya for it as well. The KU is some of the best I've ever seen (maybe the best). I won't be sad if I get to hang on to this. Price is $1400 $1300 shipped in the CONUS.

Steel: 145sc with XC10 cladding
Edge Length: 358mm
Heel Height: 52mm
Grind: Regular
Handle: Ironwood
Weight: 326g
