Just for veg prep so far and it’s great. I plan on using it on lobsters and bbq this weekend. I’ll post an update, but based on my initial impressions I’m sure it will excel at those tasks.

Don't you love it when the new knife delivery beats the delivery estimate by a day! This Toyoma 210mm nakiri arrived Monday. Today was the first chance I had to put it through some paces. It's a beast, daddy's happy

Got myself a Will Newham gyuto that has probably surprised me more than any knife I've ever received. Ridiculously nice and I didn't think I'd be saying this considering the other knives on my wall, but the best performing knife I own. How am I not following this thread yet? Every knife is beyond incredible. That gyutohiki from Rob thought…. What a piece. And the Kaiju is definitely a grail piece for me as well. Lovely collection.
