Maybe someone will pay your asking price, and maybe that’s it’s retail value, but IMO it’s really against the spirit of the forums to try to capitalize on others’ generosity.
I understand where you're coming from. That was not my original intention. But I also didn't anticipate the price of homes to rise like they have. If it's not a comfortable price for people that's okay. I don't mind keeping it.

Good luck with your home buying, I don’t envy anyone treading those waters right now. As for the stones, people on this forum are way too sharp, pun intended. Better to be as upfront as possible so it doesn’t look worse than it is.

Thank you, I appreciate that. In hindsight it would've been wise for me to type something up so at least it was explained up front. My fault.

I'm sorry but I find the comments in this thread kind of ridiculous. Every single stone ever posted in this forum was purchased from someone else at some point in time. It is the rare occasion that the resold stone is sold for less then someone originally paid for it. Given the scarcity of stones in market along with the demand, the price over time has gone up. If not for the "flipping" I would not have the amazing stone collection that I do.

This long running debate about "flipping" and the associated public shaming that self appointed board police employ is uncalled for. Honestly, no one wants to hear it.
