Hi everyone,

In case this went unnoticed: here's a very informative video that sheds concrete light on the question of stone progression, specifically for sharpening. Ivan Fonseca is, I believe, well known to forum members, so needless to say, the shared information will be valuable assistance, all the more so since the stones used are not the usual NSK ones, but the more accessible Naniwa Pro stones ! Another interesting point: the demonstration is done on a Kaiju... So it's time to book your ticket for Sakai😅
Hope it helps!

Hi everyone,

As a follow-up to the first video, here's a new video/tutorial offered by Ivan, which this time is dedicated to the preparation of a blade for a first polishing in order to establish good geometry and a clean surface before moving up in grit. I find his work and way to explain things very methodical and certainly a good source of information for beginners and maybe even the more experienced members.

Hope it helps!
