All,

I joined this forum recently and although I mainly work on custom orders I'm willing to put up some of my work for sale here to get the forum members to know me a bit better.

You'll find more information on myself and my career path in my intro post, but in a few words I'm a french knife maker based a few kilometers away from Paris, and specializing in kitchen knives (obviously). All blades are home forged, working indiferently monosteel, honyaki, sanmai, gomai, damascus, double or single bevels.

The first one I wish to put up here is this sexy 235mm gyuto forged in 90 layers wild damascus, with this "almost" integral bolster.

Here are the specs :
- Blade is 235mm long for 200mm cutting edge, 46mm tall at heel and 3mm thick (tapering to the tip)
- Geometry is more on the laser than the workhorse side (although I usually work thinner blades) - NB : sorry for the poor choil shot
- Homeforged wild damascus, 90 layers of 90MCV8 and 15N20
- Handle is bog oak, sourced in UK, dated 5000 years old

Price : 780 USD shipped,
