Thick Western Handles

Hi all,

Anyone know which brands tend to have thicker western handles? I hear macs have comfortable handles, is that’s because they are on the larger side?

I always find the handle on the 240 Misono Dragon quite chunky. Comfortable but chunky. And with immaculate fit & finish!

Handle size varies depending on the length of the blade. I found the size of a 240 gyuto handle quite good, the 210 was too slim... And I wouldn’t say I have big hands...

I have the MAC Pro Hollow Edge 8 inch Chef knife and the handle is comfortable for my small hands, so that model does not have a chunky handle. They have different handle styles depending on the series.

Fair enough. I only have the honesuki as a data point. Very nice handle for my large (long/skinny) hands.
