ricotta pie? Semolina, or ground almonds, apple butter on top and some heavy cream on the side.

I find myself often looking for ways to use up a few extra ingredients in the pantry/refrigerator. Anyone else have that issue?

Today it's ricotta, heavy cream, and apple butter. What should I make?
Ricotta pancakes with whipped cream and apple butter? 🤷‍♂️

Bake some ricotta in a ramekin. At the end, glaze with apple butter then broil.
Whip the cream, fold in some ricotta. Pretend its marscapone.
Thin the apple butter, reduce to a syrup. (Break the 3-ingredient rules and add some balsamic at the end.)

Eat quickly lest the sweet smell of almost-pumpkin spice whip all the neighborhood millennials into a frenzy.
