Hello all - a few long shot requests. I am taking a sojourn into the West (insofar as cutlery artisans is concerned, at least) and exploring some different grinds.

I am not expecting this to necessarily bear fruit, but if you do not ask...

I am looking for each of the following:
  1. Cygnus - I believe that there are only three out in the wild and one of them is securely locked away with a KKF member, and another only just sold last night (while I was fast asleep). Total long shot, but if you have one and would consider selling it, I would love to take it off your hands.
  2. Simon Maillet - wrought clad 240mm gyuto, ko-gyuto or petty. Anything from his latest drop - ku x wrought. Separate post
  3. Hopwood - Interested in acquiring a forged gyuto (i.e. not stock removal, with stone polished bevels etc.). My preference is for 220mm-240mm.
  4. Krichbaum - Interested in acquiring one of the StorchenKlinge batch with yew handles please. Again, another long shot!
  5. Hardent - Looking for a mod weight grind gyuto from the 'Werkgericht' or 'Hopdent' (Hopwood x Hardent) lines.
  6. Isasmedjan - looking for wrought clad, (mirror) stone polished like the pics in the comment below. 220mm - 240mm.
  7. Christian Dam - wrought iron clad gyuto, preferably 230mm+.
Please reach out if you have any of the above with which you might be willing to part ways! New or gently used / well loved are both fine.

Thank you!

Simon is making another batch you may be able to add to the run

Adding specific Isasmedjan wrought iron clad (or similar) to the list: please let me know if you have one of these or similar. Particularly attracted to these ones, which get to 1.5mm-2mm at the mid point.

Alternatively, open to suggestions / other offerings - as you can see, theme is stone polished bevels, wrought iron (but would consider iron clad)… any others that I should consider?
