I do make custom handles but I never made a cleaver yet! It can be a nice challenge. Thanks you for linking me @Heckel7302 !

The only part that may be a little more complicated is sending the knife to Canada. But many sent me their knives from the United States, it's just the lottery of customs taxes to pay..

You can have a look at my website if you want to see my portfolio, the pricing, material available and for other information that may be useful. Don't hesitate to reach me via DM if you have any questions ✌️

Thanks for reaching out, your work is really stunning! My current cleaver is more of an entry-level price point, so I don't think it makes sense for me to incur the import taxes for this one, but I am planning on picking up an ashi cleaver later in the year if I can swing it🤞and I would definitely want to touch base with you then!

I have done a few before, but most have my work is on gyutos. @tostadas has posted quite a few that he has completed. He does really nice work! I am not sure if he takes on commissions but he certainly has the skills!
Thanks Fred!

I do love cleavers and mono handles. Feel free to hit me up, even if just to chat about either. I could go on for days about rectangles... I'm surprised @Rideon66 isn't sick of me by now.

Awesome thanks! And you're in CA? I'm just next door in OR so this will be easy. I'll shoot you a message.

I'm not sure if he just do handles, but this is some of the best traditional styled made by a non-Chinese or Japanese maker I saw, beside LaSeur of course

@Tim Rowland did a rehandle for a CCK a few years back I think it was. I have been searching for pictures but coming up blank so far. It was a gift. Lipstick on a pig, great looking buckeye burl if I remember correctly on the CCK. They guy's wife was a germaphobe and did not like the CCK handle.
I had provided the wood. But he did all the work, including any spacer material that was used.

I remember that one. I believe 2018 or 2019.
Buckeye burl, white g-10 and copper for the spacers. The concave pinch cutout I used to do a lot years ago.
Here you go....
