Greetings KKF,
I am putting forth one of my Yanick knives to trade. I've amassed four now, and this one is rather redundant to another I have, so it's on the chopping block.
This one came from another KKF member (I'm the second owner), and was a tad worse for wear when I received it. It had been tipped slightly, and the previous owner repaired it. As a result the very tip is a little more upswept than it was originally. It still cuts beautifully though. Additionally, it came to me with an ugly yellow/brown patina, and I decided an imperfect kasumi finish would be preferable to leaving it as it was. You'll see from the photos (I've included a high-res dropbox link, zoom in and look) there is some streaking and errant scratches on the core.
Although it's not in mint condition, it is still a gorgeous knife, and an insane cutter, like all Yanicks I've tried. The character of the wrought is stunning, as you can see from the photos. With a bit more work, the cladding could be mesmerizingly beautiful.
