Maybe the Kershaw I have is an older blade, agree he does make good tactical knives & folders.

To be fair... it might actually make a pretty good pizza cutter. So do scissors though, so it's still rather useless.

So you guys have reached the point, when someone has drunk himself to Scooby Doo. :D

Other than these guys were drunk [emoji43]. I don't see what's the issue? You can't use knives to cut pizza?

I am sort of missing the point aren't I

Just compare the the titles to the videos and you'll notice they're taking a piss. :)
Maxim has a giveaway game on his JNS FB page, where you can enter if you upload a video of using a Munetoshi or Toyama and put the link in a comment.
Obviously the more you upload the more chance you have to win the game.
Don't know whether these 2 made it to the competition tho'. (I doubt it, but still funny. :) )

Ah, I watched the video on the app. The titles don't show up :)

I'm so not clicking that. Got anything for "what's cooking?"?

No, I did 10 pounds of hangar steak sous vide yesterday, but I forgot to take photos.

I've been cooking a lot of pasta dishes lately, but they are not too photogenic, so I don't bother most of the time.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but very funny.

Guys, we've all been sharpening wrong... https://youtu.be/hpzoR3RXreE

Well it might be unconventional... but apparently it does work for him, so who are we to make fun of it. Whether you're rubbing the stone against the metal or the other way around, I don't see a huge amount of difference, at least for your rough work (or thinning for example). Takeda uses a somewhat similar approach where he fixes the knife and then rubs the edge with sharpening stones. As long as abrasive meets metal in a consistent manner...
