what are some good people to watch for sharpening and polishing on YouTube? For beginners but all the above.

Knife wear seems okay? They seem like the folks most active in posting things. Also seen some stuff from JKI, sharp knife shop. They all mostly seem close to the same material and a lot of it comes down to experiance. But wondering if there are other gems that I’ve missed.

When I first started to learn how to sharpen. I watch burrfection, he has pretty decent explanation and synthetic stone analysis.

Knifeplanet.net by Peter Nowlan is a fantastic beginner resource.

Milan Gravier's Instagram account is a great place to learn about advanced knife bevel shaping and polishing techniques.

I’ve watched at least a hundred sharpening tutorials and besides the gold standard stuff that everyone on here has seen like the JKI videos, this one by @Forty Ounce is one of the absolute best in terms of seeing what’s going on and getting everything explained. Especially, you can see and hear how little pressure he’s using when deburring which doesn’t come across well in a lot of videos or is poorly explained. I don’t think a lot of people have seen it because it’s on Instagram, not YouTube.

There are a lot of great random Japanese YouTube videos on sharpening as well that don’t get seen a lot because the titles are in Japanese, I’ll see if I can dig some up.
